Andrew Edward Tchie's Ph.D. research examines the use and movement of indiscriminate violence against civilian by actors in conflict. He explores how particular conditions that actors of conflict go through triggers the use of indiscriminate violence against civilians.Tchie also frequently write about UN peacekeeping, the protection of civilians in UN peacekeeping missions, violence against civilians and civil war dynamics. His previous conflict advisor and research postings include South Sudan, Nepal, Botswana, Ghana, South Africa, Turkey, Mauritius, Uganda, Kenya and Botswana.
