THE World Economic Forum on Africa gets underway on May 11. For the first time in its history on the continent it will be hosted in a country that straddles both east and central Africa - in Kigali, Rwanda.
This year’s theme is “Connecting Africa’s Resources through Digital Transformation”. Rwanda is a notable African example of a country that has staked its fortunes on leveraging digital possibilities.
It has one of sub-Saharan Africa’s fastest GDP growth rates, and a top reformer in improving the business environment.
